The Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at Aarhus University, Denmark, invites applications for a position as associate professor in social and personality psychology to begin on January 1st 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The position is a permanent position with research and teaching obligations within the subject area of social and personality psychology. The successful candidate is expected, based on professional competencies within social and personality psychology, to contribute to research and teaching in human behaviour, interaction and influence in group and organizational contexts. The successful candidate is expected to participate on a regular basis in the department’s day-to-day activities (such as seminars, courses, workshops, etc.), to contribute to the development of the department’s study and learning environment as well as to supervise students.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to participate in the department’s organizational and administrative tasks. As the successful candidate is expected to participate in all of the department’s main activities, including examination and administration, a non-Danish speaking candidate is required to acquire the necessary skills within a short period (maximum 2 years).
