FYI. Marie Sklodowksa-Curie individual fellowships

The European Commission Horizon 2020: Excellent Science, under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions work programme, invites proposals for its H2020-MSCA-IF-2018 Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships call. This supports individual, trans-national fellowships for promising researchers seeking employment in EU member states or Horizon 2020 associated countries. Fellowships must take the form of European fellowships or global fellowships. Proposals may be submitted for the following topics:

•MSCA-IF-2018-GF global fellowships;

•MSCA-IF-2018-EF-SE society and enterprise panel;

•MSCA-IF-2018-EF-CAR career restart panel;

•MSCA-IF-2018-EF-RI reintegration panel;

•MSCA-IF-2018-EF-ST standard European fellowships.

The beneficiary must be a legal entity established in an EU member state or Horizon 2020 associated country and employ the researcher during the action. Researchers must be experienced researchers. Applications must be jointly made by the researcher and the beneficiary in the academic or non-academic sectors. Legal entities established in a third country, who secure their own funding, may be included in the consortia.

Funding for European fellowships will support eligible researchers for a period of 12 to 24 months and for a period of 12 to 36 months for European fellowship career restart panel. Global fellowships will support eligible researchers for a period of 24 to 36 months. The living allowance annual reference rate for experienced researchers is €58,560. The allowances are subject to country correction coefficients. Researchers in some categories will also receive a mobility allowance of €600 and a family allowance of €500 per month. The total indicative budget for this call is €273 million.
