Call for papers Deadline: 17 June 2016

In the UK and Ireland, there is a growing interest in politically and socially marginalised groups. This conference will provide a platform for students and researchers to come together and discuss their expertise and interests.
They are currently invite papers relating to perspectives and approaches to the study of groups who are considered to be marginalised. We aim to bring together researchers from a range of disciplines such as politics, geography and sociology in order to facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Work relating to methodological issues and new developments in the field are particularly welcome.

We welcome papers on, but not limited to, the following topics:
• Approaches to studying socially and politically marginalised groups
• Parliament, political parties and representation
• Inequalities in healthcare, housing and education
• Public services and public policy

In order to maximise the impact of this conference participants will have the opportunity to submit a version of their conference paper to be reviewed for a special issue of the Political Perspectives journal.
