FYI. Humboldt research awards for projects with German collaborators

FYI.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation invites nominations for its research awards. These enable foreign scientists and scholars from all disciplines and countries to conduct an original research project in close collaboration with an appropriate colleague in Germany. The project duration of six to 12 months may be divided into segments. Nomination of female academics is particularly encouraged. Nominations must be made by established researchers working at universities or other research institutions in Germany, or by award winners working abroad, in collaboration with German colleagues. Nominees must have internationally recognised academic qualifications documented by corresponding successes in research.

The award is worth €60,000, plus funding for additional expenditures such as language courses or travel. Up to 100 awards are available each year.
