FYI. Lectureship in Social Psychology, University of Auckland, NZ
We are inviting applications for a lectureship in Psychology (equivalent to a tenure-track Assistant Professor) from people who are able to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as research supervision, in Social Psychology at the University of Auckland.
Appointees should have a PhD in Psychology or a related discipline and a strong record of publishing research in Social Psychology (broadly construed). We are particularly interested in applicants whose research area can connect with and extend existing research and teaching strengths in social psychology (for more information, see our web page at psych.auckland.ac.nz). We also encourage applications from people with knowledge or experience related to New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific context.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a capacity for achieving research excellence, gaining external research funds, and contributing to the development of research and teaching programmes within the School, particularly within Social Psychology. The successful applicant should also expect to carry a full graduate supervision load. We encourage diversity in our staff and students. Appointees should have the capacity to teach students from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Deadline: 12th October 2018 (NZ time)
