The University of Auckland is currently seeking candidates for two positions as Lecturer (equivalent to tenure-track Assistant Professor) in Health and/or Organisational Psychology.
We are inviting applications for 2 lecturer roles in Health Psychology or Organisational Psychology (equivalent to tenure-track Assistant Professor). Appointees should have a PhD in Psychology or a related discipline, as well as demonstrated research achievements related to Health Psychology or Organisational Psychology. We are particularly interested in applicants who can connect with existing research and teaching strengths in the School (for more information, see our web page at psych.auckland.ac.nz). Applicants will need to demonstrate a capacity for achieving research excellence, gaining external research funds, and contributing to the development of research and teaching programmes within the School. Appointees should be ready to contribute to teaching in Health or Organisational Psychology. A willingness to contribute to the teaching of Research Methods would also be an advantage. Appointees should also have the capacity to teach students from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
