The Department of Psychology at St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, announces a full-time tenure-track position in social psychology at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2018. We are seeking applicants whose work focuses on issues of culture, diversity, stereotyping, prejudice, or social justice. Teaching responsibilities include courses in social psychology, research methods with lab, and advanced courses in a self-selected area of specialization. A completed Ph.D. in social psychology or a closely related area by the time of appointment is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education, and have experience or potential for conducting an active program of research with undergraduates. Applicants with an ability to add intellectual diversity and cultural richness to the department are particularly encouraged to apply.
