FYI. FIVE lectureships available at University of Greenwich, UK (short deadlines)

FYI.

The Psychology team at the University of Greenwich is inviting applications for 5 lectureships in Psychology (equivalent to tenure-track Assistant Professor). We welcome applications from individuals with an interest in any area of Psychology, but would particularly encourage applications from those in areas of Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognition and/or Neuroscience.

The Department has recently re-located in the fantastic and newly refurbished Dreadnought building on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. This move, along with the creation of new lab facilities, is part of significant investment in the Department and part of a long-term plan to build internationally leading research and teaching in the Faculty. As part of this investment we are looking to appoint five “rising star” lecturers in Psychology to help grow and develop the Department.

The Department has an active and growing research base. Psychology performed well in REF2014. Our current performance and continued investment in the discipline will lead to even better performance in REF2021 and beyond. The University is currently rated TEF silver, reflecting our excellent teaching and learning, and we have realistic aspirations to achieve a TEF rating of “gold” in the forthcoming subject TEF.

For informal enquiries please contact the Head of Department, Dr Russell Luyt at r.luyt@gre.ac.uk or +44 (0)20 8331 8867.
